I'm a 3rd year computer engeneering student. One day in the human-computer interfaces class, they asked to tevelop a webcam based game.

It was supposed to be a simple thing such as showing up a pair of glasses on the screen and getting points by "wearing" them.
I decided to go a little bit further and develop a dancing game such as Dance Dance Revolution or Pump It Up, but using a webcam and getting points by moving your arms.

It's currently written on python (using pygame, cv2 and various libraries) but I'm planning on porting it to C++ and making a complete game (currently it only has the gameplay scene; it doesn't have menus, and even the gameplay scene can be improved).
