 Post subject: about XACT

The book doesn't mention the XACT category ,and I try to add some code on the parameter of the function below to use XACT category

HRESULT Initialize(
const XACT_RUNTIME_PARAMETERS *pParams
)

this is the code I add :

xactParams.pGlobalSettingsBuffer = CoTaskMemAlloc(512);
xactParams.globalSettingsBufferSize = 512;//_global_buffer_size;
xactParams.globalSettingsFlags = XACT_FLAG_ENGINE_CREATE_MANAGEDATA or XACT_FLAG_GLOBAL_SETTINGS_MANAGEDATA

And the Initialize() always failed ....
Can someone help me?

Using XACT in the game engine is described in Chapter 7. Specifically, initializing the XACT Engine is described in section 7.4.1.
