Hi Prof is it possible to load tile maps externally with your code in Direct3D and if so how would this be achieved ??

I get that I would create a text file and need to load it in, but if you could give me an example that would be very greatly appreciated :)

Check out the Tile Collision (Bonus) example from this page. http://www.programming2dgames.com/chapter10.htm

The tile map is contained in the map1.txt file.
