hi,

I am going threw some lessons about linked list and other types of sort methods with my home learning course but somehow I still can't get my head around it and understand exactly what? why? and when? we would use those things and my tutors are completely useless when I ask them they quote me whats written in their book but I don't know if it is me who is thick or not.
I would really like someone to explain me ( IN PLAIN ENGLISH) what those are meant to be and possibly have a little example just to give me the idea I have the classes ready and written for me but I don't understand how to use them, Those classes requires other types of classes like a scenenode class and singleton class. It frustrates me because lessons after lessons they keep adding new classes in their game engine with hardly any comments and don't even explain what it is meant to be.

kind regards

What I want to know is how a linked list would work and be useful in professor kelly engine because so far none of the classes, I have not been able to them in his engine plus the method applied are difference which is why I am so god damn confused!!!!

http://www.baumann.info/public/cpp_lern ... d_list.pdf

http://www.cprogramming.com/tutorial/lesson15.html

http://www.cplusplus.com/articles/Lw6AC542/

the above should tell you everything you need for linked lists and the links below on singletons

http://www.codeproject.com/Articles/192 ... ion-with-C

http://www.sourcetricks.com/2008/05/c-singleton.html

http://www.daniweb.com/software-develop ... th-example

and if you have about £63 to spare i recommend purchasing this like i have done which also contains linked list tutorials etc...

https://secure.gameinstitute.com/game-d ... amming.php

click topics under c++ programming, then the standard template library and you will see it contains linked lists, im actually going through the whole modules from beginning to end to get a firm grip on c++
